Customer Support Engineer | Roles & Responsibilities ¤ýTransfers the related product knowledge from development engineering and NPI manufacturing team to field service team. ¤ýNew equipment installations, training, and warranty support. ¤ýTroubleshoots product problems on-site. ¤ýResponds to customer request for on-site technical support. ¤ýPerforms generic application support to customer. ¤ýProvides information to Account Manager and Product Marketing on use of products and escalations. ¤ýProvides input to Product Engineering for periodic maintenance. |
Qualifications ¤ýEducational : Candidates must have at least an associate degree or industrial high school graduation in ME/EE or engineering related major. ¤ýExperience : Minimum 3 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year at engineer positions with high-tech equipment field. Semiconductor and Display experience is highly preferred. Miscellaneous ¤ýGood command of English or at least basic emailing/speaking of English are preferred. ¤ýTo adapt and be accepted with the required intensive equipment training in overseas either in USA or Singapore for 1~3 months after on-site experience at field. ¤ýHousing Allowance or Dormitory would be provided in case of moving to Paju, Korea, whereas gas mileage would be provided in case of commuting from own dwelling. |
