JOB
TITLE : CLEANER AT EMBASSY
Job description:
1. Ensure
maintenance of the premises and exterior spaces (offices, common areas,
corridors, external entrances, pavements, etc.) and ensure the processing of
waste in order to contribute to a clean and pleasant working environment for
staff and visitors:
• Clean
and dust the offices, meeting rooms, various premises, corridors, bathrooms,
• furniture
and equipment always using the correct products;
• Clean
the kitchen and the dishes;
• Clean
the pavements and outdoor entrances;
• Clean
the windows;
• If
necessary, inform yourself about the correct cleaning products before using
them;
• Stock
up the bathrooms everyday with hygiene supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.);
• Tidy
away the equipment used;
• Prepare
bin bags;
• Empty
the premises' waste bins;
• Sort
waste according to legal standards in force;
• Take
care of indoor plants;
2. Ensure
the supply and maintenance of equipment, cleaning products and hygiene supplies
in order to be able to carry out its work correctly and on time:
• Regularly
check that the necessary equipment is available (quality and quantity);
• Provide
relevant information to the person responsible for supplying products,
• sanitary
supplies or other cleaning equipment;
• If
necessary, fill out a form to order the necessary equipment and products from
the
• responsible
person.
3. Inform
the administrative support operative of any possible damage or wear and tear to
the furniture and buildings.
4. Serve
drinks and snacks to diplomatic staff and their guests.

We offer :

The job is being offered on Fixed
Term Contract on an initial two-year contract with the possibility for
extension on Indefinite Term Contract. In the event of non-performance or
incompatibility in the workplace, the employer reserves the right to terminate
the contract, giving a period of at least 4 weeks¡¯ notice to the employee.
¡¤
This position is subject to a
3 month probation period.
¡¤
Working hours: working hours
are 35 hours a week, from 09.00 – 17.00. When official events, visits, meetings
are being held outside of these hours, flexibility by the employee will be
required.
¡¤
Illness provision: if you are
unable to attend for duty due to illness, you should immediately notify your
line manager at the Embassy of Malaysia. All sick leave requires certification
by a medical practitioner.
¡¤
Annual Leave: your annual
leave entitlement is 15 days per year. Extra to this you are entitled to 17
public holidays declared by the Embassy on yearly basis.

Confidentiality: all
information which comes to your attention or is disclosed to you in the course
of your work at the Embassy of Malaysia is to be regarded as confidential. The
disclosure of such information to a third party will be cause for immediate
dismissal.

Starting salary : Local minimum wage (KRW2,058,894)
