Job Purpose:
Business Systems Analyst, Corporate Solutions is responsible for leading and managing company¡¯s Corporate initiatives, especially for HR solutions relevant projects based on strong technical background of understanding the interface or system integration flows.
As a Business Systems Analyst, he/she works closely with business stakeholders especially in corporate function domain to enable digital transformation strategy leveraging local corporate solutions. In doing so, he/she needs to continue to re-define new Business models in relevant on-going or newly developed projects or market-driven projects which would regionalize eventually.
The person needs to have a great passion for deep understanding of the IT & digital transformation in retail industry as well as back-office solutions and for the initiatives of operation efficiency.
He/she has the credibility to build the right dialog with Business and work as a partner with the Regional IT teams. He/she also will have to build credibility among key stakeholders in corporate functions to lead multiple initiatives from IT perspectives.
This position will also be responsible for reviewing and leading the corporate solution related architectures towards interface or system integration parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Collaborate with key customers to ensure expectations are in-line with project goals and objectives
• Hands on participation in SIT & UAT test cases development and verification with stakeholders
• Track the project's progress against the project plan and collectively adjust the project plan to ensure effective completion based on defined project success measures
• Strong technical knowledge or IT relevant projects/development experience recommended.
• Ensure understanding of the architecture or data flows of local systems to be aligned and connected with APAC/Global systems and governance.
• Ability to understand business operations and to provide the right techniques to map or match the business flow with the system flow.
• Report to client sponsors and IT management the status of the project
• Drive issue resolution through issue and risk management. Escalate issues to the decision-making body as appropriate
Technical Support
• Local point of contact for IT technical support for all Asia Corporate Solutions Program & related projects after go-live
• Coordinate with Regional IT & Vendors for issue troubleshooting
Vendor Management
• Monitor and ensure appropriate service levels from vendors are met
• Ensure deployment and delivery time frames are met
• Ensure vendor contract compliance
Budgetary and Performance
• Make recommendations for service improvement plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion to a timely manner
• Manage and monitor relevant HR solutions budget as required.
Personal Specifications:
Academic / Professional Qualifications:
• Undergraduate Degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• PMP or Prince 2 certified is a plus
Working Experience:
• At least 5 to 8+ years hands on experience in corporate solutions with successful implementation references
• Any specific experience in the following domain is a preferred: HR solutions projects, EDI Interface development or projects covering the E2E processes.
• Experience in an international context and culture is a plus
Functional/Technical Expertise:
• Solid knowledge on IT technologies, Governance, IT Service management, Lifecycle management including Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Operation and continual service improvement
• Technical understanding of API & Microservice strategy of Salesforce, Azure, MS Product Suites
• Technical understanding of Platforms strategy & Technical Architecture (Data, Enterprise Architecture, Applications etc.)
