Who you are
We believe that you have the following competences :
• Major in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on IT technology and infrastructure.
• Experience in retail industry or similar at large multi-national company (and preferably in expansion projects).
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and equipment (servers, networks, protocol, software, and security).
• Extensive knowledge of groupware, software, and end user tools.
• Good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people.
• Good knowledge of project management.
• Energised by working both independently and interdependently as well as cross functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business-leaders and Technology Leadership.
• Ability to coordinate and direct activities(including virtual) to help achieve project objectives.
• Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.
Your responsibilities
• Plan, drive and deliver assigned projects, including time, cost, scope and quality according to set expectations and prioritisations.
• Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks to keep projects on track and create awareness on time in case of issues.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and line organisation to ensure common expectations.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor relations within projects and support Ingka procurement, including follow up on performance and deliveries from vendor, to secure lowest cost of delivery and delivery according to expectations.
• Perform project reporting, through providing Country Service Operations Manager in Digital team with key milestones, updates and content for measuring and following up project quality and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality and performance in assigned projects in agreement with the assigned Senior Project Leader for the project in order to ensure outcomes are met.
• Plan and follow up on stakeholders to ensure alignment and harmonised expectations.
• Provide with insight to the resource capacity and resource planning in own projects to secure a better utilisation of team resources.
• Deliver projects in compliance with all aspects of how digital project operation works with projects as planning, execution and quality assurance process, steering and follow up in order to promote best practices.
• Provide support and guidance as needed to Junior Project Leaders encouraging good practices.
