SW Development | You will- As unit manager of the UP4 section you will be a member of the CU-UP
Services & OAM leadership team. The CU-UP Services & OAM organization
is responsible for the development of the CU-UP Services and the vCU common OAM
functions, handles allocation of staff to programs, dimensioning and balancing
the unit for efficiency and effectiveness, owns Product Care matters, gives release
recommendations, and collaborates with EUIR through inner source. - You will lead a unit of two development teams, system engineers, and
program managers in Korea to systemize, develop and test Epics/SPs that develop
OAM components for Observability, Assurance, Security, Configuration, Upgrade
etc used by CU-UP, CU-CP, and vDU. This work is done in close collaboration
with the PEU Services organization in EU Integrated RAN, under the concepts and
principles of BNEW Inner Source. - Cloud related aspects such as resilience, scalability, LCM (e.g.
In-Service SW Upgrade) as well as footprint and throughput will be important. - You will also be responsible for SW quality, general performance and
handling of technical debt in your unit. - You will report to the head of CU-UP Services & OAM. - You are a structured person with long experience from product development in general. Previous leadership experience is a pre-requisite. You are familiar with the different tasks involved in product development and value the developer experience (DX) for your teams. SW craftmanship and design ownership comes easy and you recognize the needed steps and measures to uphold good SW quality and product integrity. You will bring- Proven leadership with a track record of enabling change - Passion for identifying new ways of working (continuous improvements) - Understanding of customers and competitor situations - At least 5 years work experience in telecommunication and/or cloud
