DuPont is looking for a Run Plant Engineer, that manages production work process, for the Lithography business - Photoresist manufacturing process. Under the general direction of the Production Leader, the Run Plant Engineer is the technical resource for all aspects of plant operation and improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintains an understanding of all applicable process technology, equipment and control technology. Is very knowledgeable of mechanical and electrical equipment as well as process cooling and extrusion. The process does not include a chemical reaction.
Works with and coaches self-directed operation team to troubleshoot and optimize plant operations to meet goals related to asset capability, costs, conversion, and density.
Collects and analyzes plant performance data to identify and implement improvements.
Utilizes and develops Operating Discipline.
Leads and participates in Root Cause Investigations of production, process safety, or quality issues.
Maintains compliance with process safety requirements such as Loss Prevention Principles, LOPA, and Mechanical Integrity requirements.
Validates improvement opportunities, including economics.
Acts as focal point for engineering documents for the site.
Critical Success Factors / Competencies:
Facilitative leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills to work effectively within the highly motivated and self-directed site team.
Broad range of technical skills, including engineering, process control, process safety, troubleshooting.
High initiative, sense of urgency, and bias for action.
Knowledge of DuPont¡¯s global work processes.
Ability to leverage knowledge into and out of the plant to achieve overall business objectives.
Good organization skills and discipline.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry or Materials Science
Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
A minimum of 3 years chemical manufacturing process engineering experiences
