The founders of SWAT have introduced a specialized curriculum focused on fostering personality traits and characteristics conducive to academic success. We believe that a traditional classroom setting full of tests and homework isn’t always the most effective environment for maximizing language acquisition.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual with experience organizing interactive team games and activities. Candidates with backgrounds in athletics, camp counseling, or Boy/Girl Scout training are highly encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone energetic and enthusiastic, who understands how to instill the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, compassion, competition, communication, and humility in students.

*QUALIFICATIONS*

· Strong classroom management skills

Must be in decent physical shape.

· Background in recreation / athletics / camp counseling preferred

· Native English speaker (bilingual candidates preferred)

· F-visa holders / Korean citizens with fluent English-speaking ability

· Must love being around children

· Looking for candidates seeking long-term positions, with a minimum commitment of two years in Korea.

· Professional, organized and punctual individual are a must.

*Responsibilities:*

Planning and preparing fun team activities centered around physical education.
Develop interactive English language-based activities that promote speaking/communication practice.
Must conduct a 20–30 minute basic calisthenics warm-up at the beginning of each class.
Teach students the values of teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, humility, leadership, and empathy through activities.
Ensure classes are engaging, high-energy, and focused on both physical activity and English education.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Teach three 1-hour-and-30-minute classes daily, focusing on physical education and English-speaking activities.
A short break will be provided between each class.
Remaining non-teaching hours will be used for planning and researching new speaking activities and games.
No grading of homework or tests is required, allowing more focus on interactive learning and activity development.
Flexible and supportive environment prioritizing student engagement and teacher creativity.
All necessary materials and equipment will be provided.

*LOCATION*

10-minute walk from Hanti Station (Yellow Bundang Line).
300-meter walk from Gangnam Severance Hospital.

*START DATE*

Thursday, January 2, 2025.

*SALARY*

· 2.4 million KRW (negotiable based on experience, and qualifications) taxed 3.3% (freelance position)
