About the role
Dyson is looking for a strong strategic leader to be Senior Manager, Retail Excellence for South Korea. This role reports to Retail Director in Dyson Korea by leading multiple functions and team members. A successful candidate will oversee Retail Marketing and Retail Development (VM) within the market. The candidate should be highly strategic, have hands-on experiences, and able to drive new initiatives with agility, managing teams of 3~4 people.
Accountabilities
- Develop overall strategies for the retail excellence that aims to drive more in-store experiences and sell-out in Dyson Standards.
- Define clear shopper journey, retail standards, and experiential activities for every retail touch points.
- Design to implement holistic activity calendars and lead to implement in our direct stores including compelling in-store activities, quality retail displays as well as disruptive product experiences in different formats such as pop-up, outpost, or roadshow that aim to maximize the scale of outstanding consumer experiences and sell-out.
- Work with Category and Sales Teams to ensure key stores have tailored retail marketing supports under key marketing campaigns.
- Lead to explore re-recruitment opportunities among existing Dyson owners working with OE Team. Consult for driving OE/CRM activities liaising with respective retailer partners.
- Closely work with relevant counter partners in Dyson group and/or regional functions such as group retail and APAC CoE teams(creative) to bring the most locally relevant solutions for the market.
- Share best practices and actively contribute to process improvement; deliver results through problem solving and process improvement activities.
About You
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail marketing or shopper marketing careers.
- Retail development experiences are plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail market.
- Experience, preferably in the consumer electronics/retail industry.
- Experience of people manager role with multiple numbers of team members.
- Strong Stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead the agenda independently in a dynamic set up.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of success defining and delivering innovative disruptive ideas to drive long term business results.
- The ability to think and move quickly, and inspire his/her team in an environment where continuous innovation is desired.
- Experience in working with partners at multiple levels within the organization.
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously (including demonstrated ability in planning and organizational project management).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
- Experience in working in a diverse and international environment.
- Fluent in English. (verbal and written)
- Bachelor¡¯s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. (preferred)
