Position Summary
Handles financial transactions in the casino for guests whilst maintaining gaming, government regulations, departmental and company policies and procedures, maintains cash balance and proper accountability of documents in an assigned cashier window.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain proper handling of guests and company funds whilst maintaining strict compliance with all policies and procedures related to Cage operations.
Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and adequate change is available.
Perform a physical inventory of the contents of the imprest drawer or Main Bank or Chip Bank or Marker Bank and record it on the balance sheet at the end of the shift.
Process table fills and credits and/or slot kiosks fills as needed.
Assist in routine maintenance of the Cage area and equipment.
Exchanges of currency, chips, coins, checks/supyo and process marker, credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers to guests
Identify transaction mistakes when accountability and inventory do not balance.
Understands AML and accurately logs and report transactions that meets the requirement.
Handles guest and employee enquiries in a polite and respectful manner.
Reporting problems or complaints if no immediate solution can be found.
Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the shift.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous cashiering experience is preferred.
Able to speak English, Japanese or Chinese is a plus.
Flexible with work schedule, willing to work any hours and/or shifts as assigned, according to business needs.
Basic mathematics and computer literacy.
Able to use standard office equipment.
Able to maintain high confidentiality.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to work in an enclosed room.
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
A team player with a positive attitude.
Repetitive walking, standing, or bending for long periods of time.
Required to stand, walk; kneel, bend, reach, use hands to feel; push, pull and maneuver items weighing up to 25kg.
