Within the division Advanced Technologies of GM&T, the Global Business Unit New Energies is responsible for the design and the production of clean energy solutions, focusing on hydrogen infrastructure (H2 stations for cars, buses or public transportation; testing apparatus) and biogas (biogas purification units). The development of hydrogen and of biomethane as clean energy carriers are identified as promising emerging markets for the Group, with a focus on energy and mobility applications through fuel cell electric vehicles (passenger cars, material handling vehicles, public transportation) and CNG/LNG cars.
With ~ 20 employees and sub-contractors located in Kobe (Japan) and in Seoul (Korea), New Energies design, produce, sell H2 stations and provide related services in Japan and in Korea to external and internal customers, with a specific focus on serving H2 retail initiatives JHyM (JP) and HyNet (KO), of which AL is a shareholder.
Korea is one of the key pioneering countries for the deployment of those technologies and Air Liquide GM&T Korea is currently executing Projects of H2 refueling station (HRS) for passenger cars and buses and plans to further expand for the design and construction of HRS projects. Contract values are typically in the range 1.5 to 6 million EUR per project, requiring lean and agile project execution capabilities.

As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in Detail Engineering phase until the completion of execution of the design, construction and commissioning of the HRS.
You will be in charge of the Project technical studies, MOC technical support and support design development with the different internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure that the project technical documentation is controlled in terms of planning and quality, and the compliance of the delivered prodcut with the technical specifications and local regulation in close coordination with the Engineering/ Reliability Manager and the Design Authorities. You will support the Engineering/ Reliability Manager in identifying any adverse trend on the schedule and/or cost of the Project and propose mitigation measures to remedy.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Project Execution Phase under supervision by Project Director:
Support the Project Execution for the delivery of safe and reliable HRS in accordance with the Product specifications and contractual requirements:
        - Prepare, maintain and control the project technical documentaion deliverable list
        - Prepare and update the Engineering Drawings such as PFDs, Layout, PIDs, etc. using AutoCAD
        - Organise and lead the implementation of design reviews with internal and external stakeholders
        - Follow-up of the implemnetation of the Design Reviews conclusions / actions
        - Prepare RFQ technical specification for equipment purchase
        - Prepare RFQ technical specification for Mechanical installation contract
        - Technical clarification with Vendors/Subcontractors and technical bid evaluation
        - Follow-up of Vendor's design documentation submission and internal reviews
        - Follow-up of Vendor's manufacturing progress
        - Participate to Final Inspection / Factory Acceptance Tests
        - Prepare of design dossier required for permitting activities and application to relevant authorities
        - Perform Technical clarification meetings with permitting authorities (e.g KGS) to ensure necessary authorization are obtained in due time
        - Participate in the development of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures, operations manual
        - Ensure that the design modfications are controlled and properly communicated to the stakeholders
        - Support the Project Execution for the administration of Vendor's POs and Customer contracts
        - Support the Project Execution during construction and commissioning activities
     
2. Post-project phase
        - Participates to the Project capitalization process (lessons learnt) aiming to continuously improve Products and services
        - Support commissioning and maintenance Team for the follow-up and technical resolution of trouble-shooting and upgrades

3. Document Control Center
        - Owner of Document Control with supporting from Project team during the Detail Engineering / Project Execution

4. Overseas Project
       -   Prefer to have overseas Projects involvement such as Aus., NZ., Japan, US and etc.. 
       -   Good understanding design code such as ASME and ISO
