Position Summary
Guest Relations Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the guest relations team to ensure that all guests have an exceptional and memorable experience at the casino. Working under the direction of the Guest Relations Manager, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in supervising daily operations, managing guest services, and ensuring a high standard of customer care is maintained. This position requires leadership, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle both routine and complex guest-related matters.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead team members to provide high standard of service to casino VIP/mass guests
Manage the team during the shift to assign task and guest handling
Coordinate arrangements related to gaming activities, preferences and stay of guests from the arrival to the departure
Corporate and communicate with other departments to facilitate the seamless service
Provide the overall casino service such as membership related, gaming programs, promotions & events, and other related inquiries
Assist guests/junket program buy-in and settlement and other gaming account related transactions and inquiries at the Cage
Train team members on casino service operation.
Ensure tasks are executed accurately and in a timely manner
Report the operation including gaming activities to management
Minimum Education and Qualifications
A bachelor¡¯s degree in hospitality or other related fields preferred but not essential.
At least 2 years of experience with the similar position
Excellent service skill and communication skills with both guests and departments
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, or Japanese is required, multilingual preferred
Confident and able to deal with VIP guests
Understanding of both casino mass and VIP marketing including gaming programs are preferred
Excellent analytical and judgment skills
Ability to deal with different types of individuals with both guests and departments
Organized and has great attention to details
Work as a team with proactive and positive attitude
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Works in a dynamic, high-energy Casino Environment
Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions.
Based on Operation al requirements, be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
Entertaining guests at various events and dinners essential
Requires a valid driver¡¯s license and passport.
