Key Tasks (More than 1 years)

- Administer OFR Ops/CS plans and processes to provide ocean freight forwarding for internal and external customers

- Gather requirements of freight control center, and support operations team with details, information and instructions for operational performance

- Share allocation and reservations of freight on planned line haul

- Determine domestic and/ or international freight rate on incoming and outgoing materials and products based on analysis of tariff rates, freight classifications, delivery schedules and deadlines

- Answer queries, prepare information for customer visits and participate in customer visits to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention

- Support in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner

- Draft and submit relevant documents for shipping tenders

- Consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding

- Update account performances and provide monthly reports to team members

- Administer tasks and activities while meeting resource management and productivity guidelines for the day-to-day operations

- Resolve recurring issues, and suggest enhancements to OFR Ops/CS work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
